The classic itinerary of the region starts in Trodena and then leads downhill to the old sawmill and follows a forest road with a pleasant slope through the Kaltwassertal up to the Pass Zissattel (1489 m). We keep the altitude and follow the way towards Pausa and on until the Alp Krabes, the highest point of the tour. In a relaxing descent, we reach Anterivo and follow the road up to S. Lugano and then the old railroad track back to Fontanefredde. The last uphill leg brings us back to Trodena.
